Vos missions

The successful candidate will develop an internationally recognized competitive research program investigating the impact of environmental stressors (the exposome) on the prevention, pathogenesis, and clinical outcomes of female-predominant diseases. They will collaborate closely with the Hôpital Fribourgeois (HFR), the University Hospital Bern (Inselspital), the University Hospital Lausanne (CHUV) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Profil souhaité

  • Qualified applicants must have an outstanding track record of successful independent experimental, epidemiological and/or clinical biomedical research, preferably in disease areas that predominantly affect women.
  • Significant teaching experience of human medicine at the university level is mandatory. Courses are taught in French and/or German.
  • The University of Fribourg is bilingual (French/German). Knowledge of the second language (level B1 oral) is expected. If this is not the case, it must be acquired within two years of taking up the position.
