Ihre Aufgaben
This is a 2-year renewable contract.
The goal of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Service is to improve the chances of knowledge reaching the market and benefitting society. We support the University researchers in their collaborations with existing companies, the identification and evaluation of technologies for commercialisation, and the early stages of start-up creation.
Your operational responsibilities will mainly include the identification of valorisation partners and the licensing and management of intellectual property. Additionally, you will evaluate intellectual property, negotiate and manage contracts, support early-stage spin-off companies, support researchers with application-oriented research proposals, and organise trainings and outreach activities in the field of technology transfer
Gewünschtes Profil
- You have a PhD degree in a natural science or engineering discipline and are passionate about technology-based innovation
- Ideally, you have already several years of experience in technology transfer, either in academia, industry or in a start-up
- You are proactive, hands-on, independent, goal-oriented and find valorising the university’s research findings a motivating challenge
- You have professional command of English and either French or German, excellent personal communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
