Vos missions

The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, internationally recognised research program sustained by a high level of external funding. A proven track record of translation and collaboration with the food industry is expected. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with the other members of the AMI and the Faculty of Science and contribute to the educational mission of the Faculty of Science by teaching at the graduate and post-graduate level. AMI offers highly competitive working conditions, an outstanding infrastructure, a generous start-up package, and significant discretionary research funding

Profil souhaité

  • The appointee is expected to develop an internationally recognised research program that is supported by a significant level of external funding. Close collaborations with other groups of the AMI and other units of the University, particularly the newly formed interfaculty Food Research and Innovation Centre (FRIC), are expected, and the potential for integrating the candidate within the AMI is an important selection criterion
  • Qualified applicants must have an outstanding track record of successful independent research in food science and technology
  • The future appointee will participate actively in teaching at the graduate and post-graduate levels in the Faculty of Science and Medicine
