The goal of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Service is to improve the chances of knowledge reaching the market and benefitting society. We support the University researchers in their collaborations with existing companies, the identification and evaluation of technologies for commercialization, and the early stages of start-up creation.

Vos missions

2-years contract.

 

1. Financial and Accounting Support

  • Assist in managing internal accounts (cost center and third-party)
  • Process incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Handle patent-related invoicing and maintain accurate records

2. Office and Communication Management

  • Manage office supplies and place orders
  • Maintain and update contact lists and internal documentation

3. Data and Reporting

  • Support the preparation of annual statistics related to patent income and expenditures
  • Archive legal and administrative documents

4. Human Resources Support

  • Assist with recruitment logistics (e.g., scheduling interviews, preparing documents)
  • Support onboarding and administrative follow-up for new staff

Profil souhaité

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the operations of our Technology Transfer Service. This is a part-time position (20%, equivalent to 1 day per week or two half-days) ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and an interest in research and innovation.

 

  • Experience in administrative or financial support roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with academic or research environments is a plus
  • An apprenticeship certificate (CFC) with possibly a vocational baccalaureate (maturité professionelle)
  • Professional command of English and either French or German
